About Me

About Me

"I love statistical programming and health research. I'm always looking to combine the two whenever possible."

My official title is a Data Scientist at the Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials Consortium within Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I mostly use R daily along with other standard programs. I'm learning new things every day and always striving to further sharpen my data science and health research skills. My research interest lies in mental and primary health care integration. It is a "career dream" to deploy a program or application that integrates mental and physical health symptom data to assist in screening and treatment for truly integrated care.

I completed field training and internships in community mental health clinics and mental health research labs. I have professional experience working within the government, the general public, and disseminating complex information without the scientific jargon. I've had my share of working with various non-profit clients as an evaluator as well. I am an advocate for using mixed methods and automated data processing when possible. I plan to use this platform to share and collaborate with others on this professional journey.

When I'm not working, I love to play video games, create art, travel, and spend time with my Patterdale terrier, Patches, and my husband Gus.
